Shared Passions

So, it looks like I have fallen pretty far behind! I will be digging deep for the next few posts to catch up on some work I have done over the past year.

Last summer, Tianna jumped in with both feet and pursued one of her passions. She got herself a horse! "Keep it True" or True for short has been a shared passion for us and Tianna has been keen to try to get my involved with her barn. What better way to get involved than to shoot some horses!

See more after the jump!

Above is True in silhouette during our latest photo shoot. In an attempt to give a little back to the people at Tianna's Barn and to get more experience shooting horses we set up a pseudo studio in the indoor riding arena. With two Elinchrom Quadra Rangers into a Stripbox and an Octabank we were able to set our lights and merely walk the horse into the sweet spot and focus on capturing the image.

And of course as we got more comfortable, we rose the ante and got some motion in there!

Expect more horse-photography as we become more comfortable shooting these guys! Until next time!
